Sacred Heart School has the BEST EVER school lunch ladies!!!  Everyone enjoyed their lunch today with a great Turkey Deli Croissant or PBJ Uncrustable Sandwich and a Baked Potato with some pretty colorful vegetables and either oranges or grapes and a cookie or a rice crispy treat with milk or water. Thank you, Mrs. Brenda, Mrs. Jennifer & Mrs. Kim. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

End of the Summer Pool Party

We had a blast at the pool party tonight! We’ve eaten hot dogs, chips, & had great desserts. The water was PERFECT! We want to thank the Knights of Columbus & Ladies’ Altar Society for providing our food.

Penny Drive – Friday

What a SHAKE UP!!! The 5th & 6th grade class stole the thunder out from under the rest with their win. Today, the classes raised over $2,000!!!
Sacred Heart wants to thank the PTO for sponsoring the Penny Drive and working tirelessly at counting pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, & dollars. They are dedicated to our students and we thank them for continuing to come out each morning and year. We want to give our PTO a BIG SALUTE & to congratulate the 5th & 6th grade class on their win!

Penny Drive – Thursday

Well, today had a new winner, the kindergarten class! They were so excited and everyone is gearing for the big finale coming tomorrow! If you have never seen our Penny Drive it’s something to behold!

Penny Drive-Monday

You guessed it! Our week started with an EXCITING MORNING – the PENNY DRIVE!!!  The new students and pre-k’ers quickly understood how it works. Pennies count FOR your classroom and ALL other monies count AGAINST your classroom. We realize it’s too early to determine this week’s winner, but TODAY’S winner is PRE-K!  Can they keep it up?

Easter Bunny

Easter Egg HuntThe Easter Bunny was seen today at our Easter Egg Hunt!  The students had fun looking for the hidden eggs, eating their candy and, of course, finding the gold and silver eggs!  Although we have had fun with the Easter Bunny, we have been sure to teach and celebrate the TRUE MEANING of Easter – JESUS!  Each class has studied and learned about Holy Week and the 7th & 8th grades had the Passover Meal this morning.

Sacrament of Baptism

Cara Lee Forsythe's baptismThis morning as part of our Children’s Mass, Cara Lee Forsythe received the Sacrament of Baptism.  It is always such a special occasion to see our young students choosing the Walk of Faith set before them and following Him.

Looking Back

As part of our Catholic School’s Week festivities, 5th and 6th grades spent their Language Arts block outside around a “campfire.” We ate s’mores, told ghost stories, sang a song, and read about monster goldfish and wild boars as invasive species. As you can see, we all enjoyed our “camping trip.”
